On Sunday 9 July 2017, Liza completed her first 10K race to support the International Association of Human Values “Happy Climate” Program, to increase awareness and mitigation of global warming.
Phew, made it, completed my first ever 10K! It took me one hour and twenty-seven minutes, an average pace of 14 minutes per mile, which is faster than I expected. In my age and gender group, I was 77th out of 113. Quite happy with this, not being any kind of runner or athlete. We have 60 days, in case anyone else wants to contribute to climate change education and mitigation, through the new IAHV program. — Liza
